Rental Information

  • Customers must agree to the Macdonald’s HHC Rental Agreement terms – ask customer service for a copy.
  • For rentals, 48 business hours’ notice for cancellations must be provided to be refundable. For rentals cancelled without 48 business hours’ notice, delivery, set up, drop off, and rental fees may apply.
  • To reserve equipment, rentals must be prepaid up front. The rental period will start no later than seven days after the reservation is made (i.e. we can hold the equipment for longer, but rental fees begin to accrue after seven days). Cancellation policies apply equally to cancelled reservations.
  • Credit card is the preferred method of payment. If you are unable to use a credit card, we may, in our discretion, take the full MSRP of the equipment and hold it on account in lieu of a credit card. We will deduct the monthly rental rate along with any other fees and charges from the deposit on account.
  • Rent to own – 100% of the first month’s rental fees and 50% of each month’s rental fees thereafter can be put towards the purchase price. The equipment will be discounted:
    • 0% for equipment that has been rented previously for less than 7 months
    • 5% for equipment that has been rented previously for at least 7 months but less than 13 months
    • 10% for equipment that has been rented previously for at least 13 months but less than 24 months
    • 15% for equipment that has been rented previously for 24 months or more
  • For equipment returns, pickup requests must be scheduled by the customer 48 business hours prior to the end of the rental period or additional fees may apply. This will give Macdonald’s HHC enough time to schedule a pick-up of the rental equipment.
  • Any equipment returned in a condition that cannot be salvaged will be charged at full MSRP to the customers credit card. This includes equipment that is in an irreparable state or is filthy beyond cleanliness.
  • Our minimum rental period is one month. After the first month’s rental, if equipment is returned within seven days of a subsequent rental period, we will discount the rental fees for that rental period by 50%.
  • Late payments are subject to interest of 24% per annum, payable monthly.
  • No discounts on equipment rental rates, delivery, set up, pick up, or service.
  • Upon request, Macdonald’s HHC will make efforts to maintain and service the rental equipment throughout the rental period. Unless maintenance relates to a manufacturer’s defect or reasonable wear and tear, maintenance will be performed at the sole expense of the customer. Macdonald’s HHC will follow the manufacturer guidelines for routine maintenance.
  • Reasonable wear and tear includes:
    • Tire wear
    • Bearing service
  • The following are NOT considered manufacturer’s defects or reasonable wear and tear:
    • Adjustments to equipment
    • Backrest angle
    • Headrests adjustment
    • Adjustment of brakes
    • Damaged equipment due to misuse.
  • The customer gives authorization to charge the on-file credit card for any due rental charges, repair costs of damaged equipment, costs for loss of equipment (MSRP), service charges, delivery charges, and other amounts payable to Macdonald’s HHC. Similarly, if the customer provides a deposit for the MSRP in lieu of a credit card, the customer gives authorization to charge any of these items against the deposit.
